The short version
Bright Health Savings LLC does not sell your personal information, and does not share it with third-party lead buyers. What you submit through the survey goes to one licensed insurance advisor so they can review it and contact you. That is the only reason we collect it.
We publish this page anyway, because you have rights under state privacy law regardless of what we do, and because you should not have to take our word for it.
Your rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and why.
- Access a copy of it, in a portable format.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information we hold about you.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted advertising.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
These rights come from laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, and comparable statutes in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states. Which apply to you depends on where you live.
How to make a request
Send your request through the contact page, or tell your advisor directly on the call. Include the email address and phone number you used, and say which right you are exercising — access, correction, deletion, or opt-out.
We will acknowledge the request and respond within the timeframe your state’s law requires, generally 45 days, with one extension where permitted and only if we tell you why.
Verifying who you are
To protect your information from someone else requesting it, we verify requests by matching the contact details you provide against what we already hold. We will not ask you for a Social Security number, a copy of an identity document, or payment details in order to verify a privacy request.
Authorised agents
You may use an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask for written permission signed by you, and may still contact you directly to confirm.
Global Privacy Control
We honour Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser, treating them as an opt-out of any sharing that would qualify as a sale or as targeted advertising under applicable state law.
Stopping contact
Opting out of contact is separate from, and quicker than, a formal privacy request: reply STOP to any text message, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or say so on the call. We will honour it promptly.
